As much as we love YouTube, Wikipedia, and Khan Academy, we couldn't help but feel something crucial is missing: a human. Many online independent education platforms feature Forums precisely for that reason, to put humans in the process. We, in our own small ways, set out to do exactly that -- to offer a human-centric educational experience. But there is more, we also want to offer one of the greatest advantages of YouTube, Wikipedia, and Khan Academy: Free. So here we are, Little Stone is a Free educational enrichment program that aims to bring free educational help to children in elementary, middle, and high schools. Whether it is homework help, or picking up a new skill (say programming), we hope to grow our team to meet the needs of our community.

We want to bring free educational help to everyone. We start with our own community and offer everything we can. With diligence and passion, we hope to spread the word and the spirit and build our programs to reach more kids in more communities.
With our peer-mentoring and peer-teaching programs, we hope to bring effective, efficient, in short, useful help to students. We believe it is better to learn problem solving skills and strategies from someone who has successfully used them and who understands the struggles kids face.
